This 200-year old south-facing cottage overlooks the limestone village of Parwich and has panoramic views across the valley from its hillside position. The Cottage is situated up a short driveway from a quiet lane, with a sheltered garden, paved seating area and a meadow behind. It is well equipped with a double and single bedroom, comfortably sleeping up to 3 adults. |

The wide entrance hall serves as the dining area and is adjacent to the kitchen. The entrance hall is tiled with under-floor heating to take the chill off on cold days. Heating is by night storage heaters. The bathroom on the ground floor has a bath with shower-over. |
||
The kitchen is well-stocked with a 4-ring electric cooker with oven, fridge-freezer, washing machine, microwave, coffee-maker and toaster. The window in the kitchen looks out onto the sloping meadow at the back where sheep or cattle may be grazing.
The owners encourage recycling of glass, paper, plastic, cans&tins and green waste. Recycling boxes and a compost bin are available to help you to go 'green for the week'. Other environmentally friendly features are low-energy light bulbs and double-glazing. |
